AI Effect Plugin: let your agent create images and videos

Add a custom connector

A few clicks in settings. No API key needed.

Claude
1. Open Claude (desktop app or claude.ai) → Settings → Connectors.
2. Click “Add custom connector”. Name: AI Effect. URL: https://www.aieffect.art/api/mcp
3. Click Connect, sign in to AI Effect in the browser and click Allow.
4. In a chat, enable the AI Effect connector and ask for an image or a video.

Your browser opens AI Effect. Sign in, optionally set a daily credit cap, and click Allow. You can disconnect any time.

How it works

Step 1

You ask in plain words

Describe the image or video you want, or point the agent at local files to use as references. It uploads them for you.

Step 2

The agent picks and quotes

It reads the live model list, chooses resolution, length and aspect ratio, and gets the exact credit price for free.

Step 3

You confirm, it generates

After your OK it starts the generation, checks progress and hands you the download links. Videos usually take a few minutes.

FAQ

Yes. Agents spend the same credit balance at the same prices as the website, and their creations show up in your history too.

Not for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex: you sign in through the browser. Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and Gemini CLI use an API key from the connections page.

Agents quote the price and ask before each generation. You can also set a daily credit cap per connection and disconnect it at any time.

Images usually take under a minute. Videos usually take a few minutes depending on model, length and resolution. The agent keeps checking until the file is ready.

Yes. Give the agent a public link or a local file path. Local files are uploaded to your AI Effect storage and used as first frames or references.
